This harpoon is a 2 piece throwing or cockpit harpoon which is 120 inches long – which does include the pike – which is another 12 inches (approx ) It has great throwing balance and is easy to use –the added length (an additional 2feet more than our standard length harpoon) gives you greater reach to harpoon fish deeper. In addition, the weight in the head of the harpoon is removable. It can be used on Tuna / Swordfish or Sharks
Designed for Tuna / Swordfish or Shark, these cockpit and throwing harpoons are manufactured in American on the New Hampshire seacoast. These Harpoons are made of aircraft grade 6061 T aluminium –one-inch diameter and are sand blasted/hard coated with a special marine powder coat. They are fitted with machined marine bronze fittings using a 316 stainless steel shank. We’ve designed a special sealing system which allows us to use no pins or rivets in the construction of the harpoon. Its patent pending line holder keeps the dart on the shank without the use of tape. This Harpoon was made and designed with extreme attention to detail and quality by New England anglers and harpooners who have a passion for fishing.
